This new opening is a big deal for Kimchi Mama, born and bred in Singapore. Its first outlet debuted in Bugis in September last year, and this success led to the second outlet right in Changi Airport T2. Following its well-received success in Bugis, Kimchi Mama is opening its second outlet at T2, debuting a line of innovative ginseng chicken soup or samgyetang, a nourishing Korean classic with a modern twist, alongside its comforting fan favourites Hotstone Rice Bowls and Mama’s Shake Shake Rice Balls.
For chilly days, nights that need added warmth, jetlag, pre-flight jitters or just about any occasion, seek solace in Kimchi Mama’s new innovative halal-friendly* ginseng chicken soup dishes at its T2 outlet. These come in 5 variations, prepared in limited quantities daily, with each samgyetang served with half a chicken.
Have the Original Samgyetang ($14.90), the OG comfort bowl that’s classic for a reason; bring out your main character energy with the Spicy Samgyetang ($14.90); and power up your day with Mung Bean Samgyetang ($15.90) for that added protein and fibre boost. Unique flavours include the nutty and deeply aromatic Black Sesame Samgyetang ($15.90), and the uplifting Tangerine Samgyetang ($15.90) for that citrusy herbal glow, even in moments when life gives you tangerines.
Optional add-ons for your samgyetang include White Rice (+$1.80), Seaweed (+$1.80), and Rice & Seaweed (+$2.80).

About Kimchi Mama
The story of Kimchi Mama begins on Jeju Island, in the 1960s, when the founder was just a little girl. To her family, kimchi wasn’t just food. It was how they said “I love you”. While helping her own omma make kimchi in their kitchen, she declared, “Then I’ll make the most loved kimchi in the world!” As she grew, so did her myriad recipes. She didn’t just stick to the classics. She invented, she reimagined, she rebelled. With her kimchi, she also made various dishes, including her beloved Hotstone Bowls and famous Stew Pot.
