Food Republic reopens its doors at Jewel Changi Airport, inviting diners to the bustle of a 1970s Singapore hawker street. The outlet also brings together Asia’s most Michelin Bib Gourmand tenants in an airport food atrium, serving up local heritage favourites and highlighting Singapore’s local flavours.
Awarded Sustainable Brand of the Year (Overall Brand) at the Retail Asia Awards 2026 for its efforts in preserving Singapore’s UNESCO-recognised hawker heritage, Food Republic’s newest location relaunches on 3 July 2026. The renovation of the food atrium within this sprawling lifestyle complex is seamlessly connected to Singapore Changi Airport – the reigning best airport in the world. Naturally, even the food must match these top honours. Inspired by the neighbourhoods and communities in 1970s Singapore, Food Republic @ Jewel Changi Airport draws on the nation’s social and culinary history – when local communities gathered in shared spaces that evolved throughout the day. As neighbourhood businesses adapted over the course of the day to serve different needs, these iconic five foot way streets became important meeting points where friends, families and neighbours connected over food.
Paying homage to the hawker stalls that once lined Singapore’s iconic five-foot walkways and streets, Food Republic @ Jewel Changi Airport combines heritage-inspired surroundings with local hawker favourites, capturing the communal spirit, timeless appeal and richness of Singapore’s culinary heritage. It invites both locals and visitors to experience the culinary mastery of our vendors, with time-honoured recipes from as early as the 1960s offering local delights from nasi padang, fishball noodles and homestyle zi char favourites, to charcoal-grilled chicken wings, roast meats and Peranakan-style curry – highlighting the culinary complexity of our local cuisine.
Food Republic @ Jewel Changi Airport also features Michelin Bib Gourmand MP Thai’s first food court outlet, as well as first-in-Singapore outlet of Hong Kong-based Ai Shan Claypot Rice, famed for its Hunan flavours and consistently crispy rice crust in every serving.

The four Michelin Bib Gourmand stalls at Food Republic @ Jewel Changi Airport are:
MP Thai (Debuting its first food atrium outlet at Food Republic @ Jewel Changi Airport.
Michelin Bib Gourmand from 2024 – 2025, 2 years):
From Thailand, with love. Founded in 2020, MP Thai is a family-created Thai dining concept named after the owner’s two children and brought to life by the family. At the heart of MP Thai are its secret homemade sauces; it also uses rich chicken broth instead of water in its signature dishes, creating deeper flavour and greater aroma. While maintaining the authentic Thai taste, selected dishes also underwent months of refinement and customer feedback to better suit local palates without losing their Thai identity.
Na Na Homemade Curry · Peranakan Cuisine 南南家咖喱 · 娘惹料理
(Michelin Bib Gourmand from 2016 – 2025, 10 years):
A 10-year Michelin Bib Gourmand curry specialist, Na Na Homemade Curry’s winning formula is built on a family secret recipe since 1989. This rich, spice-forward gravy is crafted from a secret family blend of Indian dried chilies and over 10 herbs, slow-cooked with premium ingredients and fragrant Kara Kara coconut to enhance the depth of flavour. Tender fish, chicken, or mutton absorb the spices for a hearty, authentic taste, each curry a celebration of traditional flavours.
LiXin Teochew Fishball Noodles 立兴潮州鱼圆面
(Michelin Bib Gourmand from 2022 – 2025, 4 years):
A household name is LiXin, long known for its handcrafted fishballs made from 100% yellowtail fish and a time-honoured Teochew recipe dating back to the 1960s. Starting as a humble pushcart in 1968, LiXin Teochew Fishball Noodles has grown into a well-loved heritage brand while staying true to its roots. Known for its handmade yellowtail fish balls, each piece is crafted daily to achieve that signature springy bite and rich umami flavour. Paired with noodles tossed in chilli and crispy crackling, it’s a comforting taste of tradition that has stood the test of time.
Jian Bo Shui Kueh 楗柏水粿 (located within Toast Today 吐司日记 drinks stall)
(Michelin Bib Gourmand from 2021 – 2025, 5 years): This heritage Teochew chwee kueh brand since 1958, is known for its soft, steamed rice cakes paired with its homemade preserved radish (chai poh) topping.
The food atrium at Jewel will also be home to the first-in-Singapore outlet of Hong Kong-based claypot crown jewel, Ai Shan Claypot Express 爱膳煲仔记. Deftly bringing together the flavours of Hunan cuisine and the texture and character of Hong Kong-style claypot rice, what shines is the definitive claypot cooking process that creates a consistent crispy rice crust in every serving for a rich and satisfying claypot experience. Each layered, aromatic pot also uses two types of rice, peanut oil from China, and a homemade soy sauce crafted from over 20 spices.
Other delicious legacies are waiting to be discovered along the streets of Food Republic @ Jewel Changi Airport. Offering a variety of options, both locals and tourists will get to enjoy the rich balance of indonesian spices at Padang Lezat Authentic Indonesian Cuisine 传统印尼巴东饭 (Halal) now run by the fourth generation, the rich herbal brews of Ju Fu Bak Kut Teh 聚福肉骨茶, and the comforting and aromatic blend of spices of Singapore’s classic chicken rice dish at Yang Sayang Chicken Rice (Halal).
