China’s viral Thai milk tea sensation BlackTree (黑树) is making its international debut in Singapore this July with the opening of its first overseas outlet at 313@Somerset. Founded just last year, the fast-growing Chinese beverage brand has quickly built a loyal following across major cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou and Guangzhou, earning a reputation for its signature Thai milk tea creations and innovative tea concepts.
Best known as China’s No.1 Thai milk tea brand, BlackTree is bringing its most popular drinks to Singapore, including the Milky Cat Cheese Milk Thai Tea and the indulgent 400 Times Cheese Milk Thai Tea, both favourites among celebrities such as K-pop star Byun Baekhyun and Chinese actress Wang Yu-wen. The new outlet will also debut the world’s first BlackTree Asian Tea Lab, a concept dedicated to exploring and reimagining Asian teas through creative flavour combinations.
Exclusive to Singapore is the playful Lily Lamb, created in collaboration with Shanghai’s viral Matcha Wang. Available only at the 313@Somerset outlet, the limited-edition drink adds a local-exclusive touch to BlackTree’s highly anticipated overseas launch, giving tea lovers yet another reason to check out one of China’s fastest-growing beverage brands.
