Basq & Bean has landed on Beach Road with a concept that pairs two indulgences—Basque burnt cheesecake and specialty coffee. Their cheesecakes come whole, never by the slice, with flavours ranging from Original and Dark Chocolate to a local twist of Pandan Kaya. Each one is caramelised on the outside, creamy at the centre, and designed to be savoured in its entirety.
The café sources its beans from the northern highlands of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, where the cool climate and fertile soils produce distinctive Arabica profiles. Roasted in three styles, from floral light roast to robust dark, the coffees here are meant to stand alongside the cheesecakes rather than play second fiddle. The pairing reflects Basq & Bean’s philosophy: desserts and coffee should complement and elevate each other.
Inside, the space balances warm wood and ambient lighting for a cosy, intimate atmosphere—ideal for quiet reflection or a photo-worthy café moment. There’s also a nod to sustainability: spent coffee grounds are upcycled in partnership with local firm A1 Environment. More than just another café, Basq & Bean sets out to be a thoughtful destination, blending comfort, craft, and care into every experience.
