Travellers heading to Batam and beyond can look forward to a smoother departure experience as the Singapore Cruise Centre relocates all ferry and cruise operations to a brand-new terminal at HarbourFront this July. The transition will take place in two phases, with Batam Fast Ferry moving into the new facility on 7 July, followed by Horizon Fast Ferry, Majestic Fast Ferry, Sindo Ferry, Indo Falcon Shipping & Travel, and all cruise operations on 15 July. The good news is that while the terminal may have a new home, everything else remains largely unchanged — ferry routes, destinations, schedules, and berth locations will continue to operate as usual.
Located just 70 metres from the existing Singapore Cruise Centre, the new terminal occupies a newly built terracotta-toned structure tucked behind HarbourFront Tower 2 and facing the waterfront. Positioned directly opposite The Reef at King’s Dock, the new facility remains within easy reach of familiar HarbourFront landmarks. Inside, passengers can expect a refreshed travel experience, with upgraded infrastructure and technology-enabled services designed to streamline pre-boarding procedures.
The new terminal will also introduce a range of lifestyle amenities, including food and beverage outlets, convenience retail, and money-changing services, with the full tenant lineup set to be announced closer to the official opening later this year. Getting to the terminal remains convenient via HarbourFront MRT Station Exit B, with sheltered walkways linking the station, VivoCity, and surrounding areas directly to the new facility. As parking availability will be limited, passengers are encouraged to make use of public transport when travelling to and from the terminal.
