PULL by TPG has opened along Joo Chiat Road, bringing an all-day café centred around generously loaded bagel sandwiches, coffee and matcha. Taking over a prominent corner at A Hotel Joo Chiat, the new space opens directly onto the street, with the open kitchen-style setup giving passers-by a clear view of the bread, ingredients and sandwiches being assembled.
Bagels and thick toast take centre stage, with playful names to match the generously filled creations. Expect combinations such as smoked duck, pulled chicken, crab, turkey ham, chilli-tomato tuna and eggs, with plenty of cheese, sauces and fresh toppings layered in. The Cluckin’ Good, for instance, pairs honey-mustard pulled chicken with melted cheese, mango chutney, tomatoes and salad inside a toasted, chewy bagel.
The drinks menu is just as varied, spanning classic coffee and espresso-based favourites alongside Salted Coffee, Pistachio and Macadamia Lattes, Spanish Latte, Dirty Strawberry and matcha creations such as Strawberry Matcha and Mango Matcha. Open from early morning through evening, PULL adds another casual stop to Joo Chiat for a substantial breakfast, lunch or coffee-and-matcha break.
