The Artground at One Holland Village unveils WonderGround: A Journey Beneath Your Feet, a sensory-led installation designed for toddlers and preschoolers. Conceived as an immersive “underground” world, the experience invites young visitors to explore hidden ecosystems through hands-on play, swapping screen time for a tactile, movement-based adventure rooted in nature and discovery.
Centred around the idea of “Burrow Buddies”, the space encourages children to crawl through twisting tunnels, navigate root-like structures, and wander into glittering cavern-like zones. Each element is thoughtfully designed to support early cognitive and emotional development, with soft-play features that allow little ones to explore freely and safely. While open to children up to nine years old, the installation is especially suited for those in their early years, with interactive touchpoints that build coordination, confidence, and curiosity.
Beyond play, WonderGround also functions as a living, artist-led environment. Created by Aida Sa’ad in collaboration with Teater Ekamatra, the space will host a rotating line-up of workshops, performances, and nature-based sessions throughout its run. From clay sculpting activities to live encounters with insects in collaboration with The Curious Pangolin, the experience extends beyond visual immersion into a fully participatory journey where children are encouraged to interact, create, and engage with the world beneath their feet.
