Singapore’s island playground is set for its biggest transformation yet with the unveiling of the Greater Sentosa Master Plan, a long-term vision that will reshape Sentosa and Pulau Brani over the next two decades. The ambitious blueprint introduces a host of new attractions, lifestyle destinations and transport upgrades designed to create a more connected and immersive leisure precinct, with the first major developments expected to open from the early 2030s.
Among the headline attractions is the Imbiah Canopy, a sheltered elevated forest walkway leading to the summit of Mount Imbiah, where visitors can enjoy panoramic views across Sentosa, Pulau Brani and the Southern Waterfront. Siloso Beach will welcome Sensorium, a new lifestyle and multi-purpose events destination, while Brani West has been earmarked for future large-scale attractions. The plan also includes an Island Heart Transport Hub, a next-generation people-mover system replacing the existing Sentosa Express, enhanced beachfront experiences, ecological coastal protection measures, and new lifestyle concepts such as treetop dining, beach clubs and waterfront promenades.
Designed to complement Singapore’s wider Southern Waterfront transformation, the Greater Sentosa Master Plan aims to position the destination for the future while preserving its natural character. Together with upcoming developments including Resorts World Sentosa’s waterfront expansion and new attractions, the revitalised island is expected to welcome significantly more visitors and usher in a new era of leisure, lifestyle and tourism experiences for both locals and international travellers.
