Kali Kali has opened inside the Local Chapter food court at CT Hub 2, bringing a dedicated bagel concept to an otherwise casual coffeeshop setting. The new spot specialises in handmade bagels baked fresh daily using halal-sourced ingredients, with a signature buttery “Butter Crust” inspired by the salt bread trend. Prices start from $4, while house-made schmears and open-faced bagels add a more contemporary spin to the familiar New York-style staple.
For a quick introduction to the menu, the Bagel & Schmear Set ($6.50) comes with six mini bagels and a rotating selection of house-made spreads, including Cheddar with Caramelised Onion. More substantial options include The Deli ($14), layered with pastrami, caramelised onion cream cheese and gherkin, as well as Brie & Truffle ($13). The open-faced bagels are also available as a 1-for-1 offering, allowing diners to sample two flavours in one order, while the schmear selection includes sweet and savoury combinations such as Strawberry and Caramelised Onion.
Beyond its savoury offerings, Kali Kali plays with unexpected pairings, including bagels served with gelato. The compact stall offers something different from the usual coffeeshop fare, making it a convenient stop for fresh bagels and inventive spreads in the CT Hub 2 area. As the food court is non-air-conditioned and can get busy, visiting earlier in the day is recommended.
