Pokémon Singapore today announced that the grand reopening of Pokémon Center SINGAPORE at Jewel Changi Airport will take place this Wednesday, 1 July 2026. This marks the culmination of a major store revamp since its temporary closure on 1 April, introducing a fully revitalised space inspired by Singapore’s unique heritage.
Designed to surprise and delight both local customers in Singapore and global Pokémon fans, the newly transformed Pokémon Center SINGAPORE offers a uniquely contextualised retail experience, inviting guests to discover something new and experience joy with every visit.
The Evolution of Pokémon Center SINGAPORE
Since its opening in 2019, Pokémon Center SINGAPORE has leveraged its strategic location at Jewel Changi Airport to serve as a vibrant community hub and a beloved destination for both locals and international travellers. For Pokémon Singapore, this grand reopening represents a significant milestone in deepening connections with both local customers and global Pokémon fans, fostering an even broader love for Pokémon.
As previously revealed, the Legendary Pokémon, Solgaleo, recognizable by its majestic, sun-like mane, serves as the store’s new symbol Pokémon. Featured on the official logo and standing proudly at the store’s façade alongside Pikachu, the introduction of Solgaleo has been met with warm anticipation from Pokémon fans both locally and internationally.
Furthermore, the full splendour of the store’s new interior is now ready to be unveiled. Drawing inspiration from Singapore’s unique culture and heritage, the revitalised space features beautifully designed shelves and interior elements that pay tribute to traditional architecture and design. Visitors are cordially invited to experience this newly transformed space firsthand from 1 July, with admission managed in accordance with safety guidelines during the opening period.
Specially Designed Commemorative Merchandise to Launch in Two Waves
In celebration of this milestone, a series of commemorative merchandise has been specially designed for Pokémon Center SINGAPORE, featuring a total of 20 unique products released across two distinct waves.
While the first wave on 1 July will introduce 12 curated lifestyle items – including products featuring beautiful original artwork of Pokémon in a Singapore-inspired cityscape and a Kopi Cup & Saucer Set – the excitement continues with a second wave of merchandise scheduled to launch on 7 August 2026.

This upcoming second wave highlights local everyday culture, bringing beloved local elements to life. The collection features adorable bag charms of Pikachu with iconic local treats: a durian, a cup of kopi, and a slice of pandan cake. Additionally, the second wave introduces stylish pouches featuring a Peranakan-inspired Pokémon pattern on the inner lining, Pokémon graphic T-shirts, and a tote bag with Pikachu and Solgaleo embroidery, adding a splash of local colour to the shopping experience.
With a total of 20 specially designed items across both waves, these commemorative collectibles are perfect keepsakes to celebrate this grand reopening. Pokémon Singapore hopes that guests will look forward to discovering both waves of commemorative merchandise as special mementos of this reopening.
