Marking the latest chapter after three successful outlets across NEX, Suntec City, and Jurong Point, the new outlet introduces an exciting line-up of new flavours across its menu of kakigori, sando, and dorayaki, alongside an exclusive Gelato collection, available only at Funan.
Since debuting in Singapore, Ghost Kakigori has carved out a niche with its playful take on Japanese desserts, specialising in finely shaved ice made with ultra-fine, fluffy ice that melts delicately in the mouth. Its signature creations pair shaved ice with generous layers of sauces, fresh fruit and premium ingredients, often concealing delightful fillings within for an element of surprise. With its focus on creative flavour combinations, contrasting textures and visually striking presentations, Ghost Kakigori has become a popular destination for dessert lovers looking for something refreshingly different.
Exclusive at Funan: Gelato Daifuku and Gelato Collection
Exclusive to Ghost Kakigori’s Funan outlet, the brand introduces its new Gelato collection, where eight playful “emoji” designs conceal seven inventive flavours. Scoop up this delightful treat in the form of a Mysterious Cup or Yurei Cone with a single scoop available for $5.90 and a double scoop for $7.90. Each Yurei Cone comes covered in a soft and chewy mochi ghost that is adorned with a randomly selected emoji expression for a sweet surprise!
The beloved Uji Matcha takes centre stage as the signature flavour, while the rich Sicilian Pistachio and indulgent Hokkaido Chocolate are top picks or first-timers. Meanwhile, the intriguingly savoury Japanese Miso Rice offers a unique flavour experience that is sure to surprise. The rest of the line-up is rounded off with equally inventive iterations like Shiro Vanilla, Truffle Cheese,and Genmaicha Caramel Crunch. With each emoji-inspired creation adding an element of mystery, the collection turns every scoop into a playful discovery.
Also exclusive to the brand’s latest Funan outlet for dine-in only, the Japanese daifuku is reimagined as a Gelato Daifuku ($7.90) and arrives freshly wrapped in a soft, chewy mochi and filled with a gelato flavour of choice for a perfectly balanced bite. Seven delicious flavours are up for grab at the Funan, scoop up Shiro Vanilla, Japanese Miso Rice, Truffle Cheese, Uji Matcha, Sicilian Pistachio, Genmaicha Caramel Crunch, and Hokkaido Chocolate.



New Sando, Dorayaki, and Kakigori on the Menu
Celebrating the new store are new flavours whether you’re a fan of sando, dorayaki or kakigori.
The signature offering Kakigori proudly presents a new Black Sesame Soy Fuji ($15.90) flavour. Inspired by the beauty of Mt. Fuji, this decadent treat comes topped with a rich black sesame sauce and crispy youtiao (fried dough fritters), with morsels of meat floss and a silky soy pudding hidden within the fluffy shaved ice for a delightful savoury surprise.
Bound to impress are also a lineup of signature favourites that include the flavourful Durian Cheese King ($18.90), the stunning Flamed Strawberry Brulee ($14.90), the complex flavours of Hokkaido Azuki & Uji Matcha ($14.90), and the ever popular Choco Chiffon Cake ($13.90).
Similarly, its expansive range of Sandos featuring soft, pillowy Japanese milk bread sandwiching fresh seasonal fruit, silky cream, and sweet fillings for a light yet indulgent dessert experience, now comes with new fillings of Melon Harmony ($6.90) that highlight the sweetness of fresh melon, Citrus Blossom ($7.90) with comes with the delightful citrus notes of fresh orange and kiwi,and lastly the Hanami Fruit Cloud ($7.90) that comes packed with the fresh flavours of four different fruits!
Bound to delight is also an expansive range of Dorayaki that pairs fluffy, golden pancakes with rich, creamy fillings for a truly indulgent bite. Each Doriyaki is freshly made daily and served chilled to highlight the complementary flavours of the ingredients and pancake. New flavours include Strawberry Daifuku ($4.30), Choco Crunch ($4.30) and Yuzu Bloom ($3.90). Complementing the new arrivals are Ghost Kakigori favourites such as Taro Mochi ($4.30), Matcha Red Bean ($4.30), Crème Red Bean ($3.90) and Oreo Cheese ($3.90).
