Let’s Go Bago has taken over the former The Cloud space along Duxton Hill, introducing a new neighbourhood café built around house-made sandwiches, milk buns and a pet-friendly setting. Named after the owner’s French bulldog, Bago, the café features a welcoming outdoor area where diners can bring their four-legged companions, while the interiors are kept casual and thoughtfully designed for everyday visits. The concept aims to feel less like a destination café and more like a natural part of the neighbourhood’s daily rhythm.
The sandwich menu is centred around house-made ciabatta, offering an alternative to the sourdough, focaccia and bagels commonly found at contemporary cafés. Options include Bago’s #1, Bingo Balaboo, Bago’s Cheat Day, Bago Treat! and Bisou Bisou, with prices starting from $14. The signature Bago’s #1 ($18) comes packed with prime ribeye, miso mayo, Dijon mustard, fried natsu, shredded vegetables and pickles, balancing the richness of the beef with sharper, more savoury elements. Alongside the sandwiches, the café also makes its own milk buns, available in flavours including Ham & Cheese, Garlic Cream Cheese, Sea Salt Butter and Cinnamon Pecan.
With its combination of comforting food, house-made breads and a pet-friendly outdoor space, Let’s Go Bago adds another relaxed hangout to Duxton Hill’s café scene. It is a straightforward neighbourhood concept that puts good sandwiches and thoughtful design at the centre, with enough character to make it worth dropping by even when there isn’t a dog in tow.
