Butter Town has opened Butter Town Breakfast Club along South Bridge Road, marking the popular bakery brand’s first dine-in café after building a loyal following for its signature shio pan. What began as a home-based business in 2022 has steadily expanded from a hawker stall at Holland Drive to outlets at CT Hub, a grab-and-go kiosk at Raffles Xchange, and even Singapore’s first shio pan vending machines. The new two-storey café near Chinatown MRT now gives fans a dedicated space to enjoy its best-selling bakes alongside an expanded food and beverage menu.
The spotlight remains firmly on Butter Town’s signature Japanese salt bread, with the café offering its widest shio pan selection to date. Alongside the classic OG version are sweet creations such as Milk Cream, Lemon Meringue, Matcha, Earl Grey and Durian Cream, as well as savoury options including Mentaiko Onion and Garlic Cream Cheese. Local-inspired flavours like Kopi and Kaya Butter add a familiar twist, while the Kaya Butter or Azuki Butter shio pan can also be paired with a traditional soft-boiled egg breakfast set for a fresh take on Singapore’s classic morning meal.
Beyond its signature bakes, Butter Town Breakfast Club introduces a heartier dine-in menu featuring dishes such as Nyonya Chicken Curry served with its OG shio pan, complemented by specialty coffee from Crema Café. Signature drinks include the citrusy Crema Lioness and a Peanut Butter Cloud Latte, rounding out the café’s all-day breakfast concept. With a cosy two-storey setting and an expanded menu, the new opening transforms Butter Town from a grab-and-go bakery into a destination for leisurely breakfasts and brunches in Chinatown.
