Bukit Timah’s long-standing Kem Huat Kopi has entered a new chapter with its rebranding as 913 Eating House. Located along Bukit Timah Road, the refreshed space continues to serve familiar local favourites in a bright, fuss-free setting that feels more like a modern coffee shop than a traditional kopitiam. Diners can expect a menu of classic kopi and teh, toast sets, hearty noodle dishes, rice plates and rotating dessert selections throughout the day.
While the name may have changed, the comforting flavours remain. One of the standout dishes is the SHIOK Pork Noodle ($9), served with bee hoon in a mildly sweet broth reminiscent of Johor Bahru-style pork noodles. The bowl comes generously topped with minced pork, pork slices, liver and pork balls, making it a satisfying option for breakfast or lunch.
Another crowd-pleaser is the Curry Chicken Rice ($9), a value-for-money plate featuring curry chicken, braised cabbage, fried egg and crispy fried chicken pieces alongside steamed rice. For those seeking a casual spot for local comfort food in the Bukit Timah neighbourhood, 913 Eating House offers a familiar dining experience with a refreshed identity.
