SukiyakiJIN is the latest concept by the Les Amis Group, set to open at Shaw Centre as a new casual sukiyaki spot. Taking over the former space of Tenjin on level one, the 60-seat restaurant introduces a more relaxed, everyday take on the Japanese hotpot experience, with warm wood interiors and lantern lighting shaping a cosy, approachable setting.
The concept centres around a focused menu built on premium A5 wagyu, served in generous portions designed for sharing. Diners can expect a “mountain” of thinly sliced beef cooked tableside in rich, flavourful broths, with the flexibility to prepare each bite to their preferred doneness. Alongside the classic sukiyaki, the restaurant also introduces a distinctive tomato-based variation, offering a tangier, more contemporary spin on the traditional dish.
Sukiyakijin keeps things intentionally simple, with just a couple of core options supported by a handful of add-ons, reinforcing its casual, fuss-free positioning. As a new opening within the Les Amis Group portfolio, it brings a fresh, accessible format to the local dining scene — one that balances quality ingredients with a laid-back, communal dining style.
