Art meets accessibility at Guoco Midtown II with the debut of the Guoco Midtown Public Art Wall, a new permanent exhibition space designed to bring visual arts into the everyday lives of city-goers. Located along the underpass that connects Beach Road and Tan Quee Lan Street—just steps from Bugis MRT—the 44-metre wall transforms a transit route into a curated cultural experience.
Developed in collaboration with non-profit arts institution DECK (https://deck.sg/), the Public Art Wall showcases rotating exhibitions by both established and emerging artists. Its inaugural showcase featured renowned Chinese artist Liu Bolin’s Seeing the Invisible, and the space currently hosts Undescribed #10, a group exhibition featuring four young Singaporean artists. The initiative reflects GuocoLand’s continued commitment to community placemaking through the integration of arts and design.
The launch of this public art platform coincides with the completion of Guoco Midtown II, the final phase of GuocoLand’s integrated mixed-use development. Together with its diverse F&B offerings and pedestrian-friendly layout, the addition of the Public Art Wall cements Guoco Midtown’s vision as a connected, cultural, and human-centric destination in the heart of the city.
