Science Centre Singapore invites visitors to dive beneath the surface with ONE Ocean: Every Action Ripples, an immersive new exhibition making its global debut. Developed from more than two decades of research by the Tara Ocean Foundation, the experience explores the intricate relationship between humanity and the world’s oceans through a series of interactive, multi-sensory environments. From Arctic ice fields to vibrant coral reefs, the exhibition offers a captivating journey into some of the planet’s most remarkable marine ecosystems.
Spanning multiple themed zones, visitors can discover Singapore’s own marine biodiversity at Tides of the Red Dot, marvel at sweeping underwater landscapes through panoramic projections at 7 Wonders of the Ocean, and step inside a replica of the Tara Polar Station for a glimpse into Arctic research and exploration. Interactive installations, immersive soundscapes, storytelling experiences, and digital exhibits bring to life everything from microscopic marine organisms to ocean myths and legends, highlighting the vital role oceans play in supporting life on Earth.
For those seeking an even deeper adventure, the exhibition also features Secrets of the Blue, a free-roaming virtual reality experience that transports participants through kelp forests, mangroves, and coral reefs while uncovering the importance of these ecosystems in climate regulation and biodiversity. Combining science, technology, education, and storytelling, ONE Ocean: Every Action Ripples offers an engaging and thought-provoking experience for visitors of all ages, while encouraging a greater appreciation for the interconnectedness of our oceans and the actions that shape their future.
