Following the celebrated lineage of Yujo (Friendship), Shinrai (Trust), Sapōto (Support) and Sō (Growth), the next chapter of culinary evolution arrives this May 2026 with the opening of Satori.
Representing a moment of sudden “enlightenment,” Satori bridges the gap between high-end precision and the high-energy spirit of a modern Japanese tavern with its brand of no-frills yakitori, featuring over 50 options of grilled skewers and more, priced from only $3.80.
Satori is helmed by Chef Wilson, a dedicated disciple of Chef Shyong, the visionary yakitori master behind the acclaimed Sapōto. While the DNA of the brand is rooted in the meticulous techniques of omakase-level grilling, Satori reimagines the experience as an approachable, no-frills destination.
Newly opened in May 2026, Satori is the latest concept in a portfolio dedicated to the Japanese values of connection and craft. By combining the mastery of Chef Shyong’s lineage with a bold, contemporary atmosphere, Satori offers a moment of culinary enlightenment in an interior that is a departure from the traditional, leaning into a bold aesthetic of deep crimson tones and cinematic lighting. The result is an immersive, high-energy environment that feels both modern and intimate. For those seeking a more exclusive experience, the venue features a private dining room equipped with karaoke, making it the ultimate haunt for celebratory gatherings and late-night revelry.
