Lange & Söhne has unveiled an expanded duplex boutique at ION Orchard, marking its largest Asia-Pacific presence to date and offering an immersive introduction to the world of German haute horlogerie. Spanning two serene levels, the new space reflects the watchmaking house’s philosophy of honouring tradition while embracing progress—mirroring the mechanical intelligence, precision, and restraint that define its timepieces.
More than a retail space, the Singapore flagship is conceived as a storytelling environment. A striking double-height façade of black glass sets a quietly commanding tone, while inside, soft greys, tactile finishes, and curated vitrines present the brand’s most celebrated collections, including Lange 1, Saxonia, and Zeitwerk. Design highlights include a kinetic sculpture inspired by the Zeitwerk’s jumping-hours mechanism and a dramatic feature wall composed entirely of movement components, anchoring the boutique with sculptural gravitas.
Upstairs, the atmosphere shifts from showcase to sanctuary. Private salons, an intimate lounge, and a discreet watchmaking corner invite collectors to linger, converse, and observe demonstrations in a setting reminiscent of a private residence.
