Paparch has opened its first physical store along Arab Street, marking a new chapter for the viral homegrown cheesecake bakery. Known for its cult-favourite basque burnt cheesecakes, the Muslim-owned brand now offers walk-in purchases—no pre-ordering required. What began as a humble home-based operation during the pandemic has since grown into one of Singapore’s most talked-about dessert names.
Launched in April 2020 as a one-man show, Paparch was built on the quiet dedication of a professionally trained chef who carefully crafts each cheesecake in a halal kitchen. Using quality ingredients and a meticulous baking process, the brand quickly gained a following for its signature molten texture and rich flavour. After moving into a central kitchen to meet growing demand, Paparch continued to expand while staying true to its hands-on, small-batch approach.
At the Arab Street outlet, guests can choose from classic originals as well as more adventurous flavours such as miso caramel, chocolate praline, pistachio berries, and ondeh ondeh. Primarily designed as a takeaway space, the shop also offers a modest standing area for those keen to indulge on the spot. Simple, unfussy, and focused on what it does best, Paparch’s first storefront makes its beloved cheesecakes more accessible than ever.
