Bangkok’s viral Soft Spot Acai has officially landed in Singapore, marking its first international outlet in the heart of Joo Chiat. Known for redefining how acai is enjoyed, the brand swaps out the usual sugar-laden blends for a pure Brazilian acai soft serve — free from added sugar, preservatives, or filler fruits. The result is a smooth, velvety swirl with a naturally tangy-sweet flavour, offering what the founders call a “clean indulgence.”
The Singapore outpost is led by local duo Samantha Tan and Mustafa Maui Abdullah, who were inspired by Bangkok founders Kat and Mai — two Thai sisters whose passion for acai sparked the brand’s cult following across five outlets in Thailand. After seeing Singaporeans’ enthusiasm for Soft Spot in Bangkok, Samantha and Mustafa brought the concept home, choosing Joo Chiat for its blend of local charm, vibrant café scene, and wellness-conscious crowd.
Designed as a cosy takeaway spot with just two long benches for those who wish to linger, Soft Spot Acai keeps its focus on quality and simplicity. Each serving is made purely from Brazilian acai berries, sweetened only with monk fruit, and topped to taste. It’s refreshingly minimalist — proof that acai can be both indulgent and honest, without the extras.
