Tucked away in Duxton Hill, Casper isn’t just a bar—it’s a cocktail lounge, art space, and music den in one. The walls double as a rotating gallery, while the soundtrack is heavy on house, tech, and Afro beats, curated by a resident DJ who doesn’t play it safe. On the second last Thursday of every month, the space comes alive with its signature Frequency Night, adding to the bar’s underground energy.
Drinks here are built around flavour rather than flair. Each cocktail takes its name from a key ingredient—Tomato with a hit of tequila and poblano, Mushroom with deep bourbon and rye, or sweet twists like Cake and Dates that blur the line between dessert and drink. For something different, there’s Guinness on tap, inventive picklebacks, and a strong lineup of highballs.
Food gets equal attention, with sourdough sandwiches leading the menu. The classic chicken thigh coleslaw stack is a favourite, but offerings evolve quarterly, keeping things fresh for regulars. A little offbeat and a little underground, Casper thrives on texture, creativity, and a refusal to follow the rules.
