Canning Bar and Lounge has opened within METT Singapore, introducing a new botanical-inspired bar set against the greenery of Fort Canning Park. Designed as a day-to-night venue, the space shifts seamlessly in mood—from a light-filled, relaxed setting in the day to a warmer, more intimate atmosphere by evening. Interiors draw heavily from the surrounding landscape, with lush green tones, natural textures, and a central marble bar that anchors the room.
The experience is built around a thoughtful cocktail programme that takes cues from both Singapore’s cosmopolitan character and its botanical surroundings. This is complemented by an all-day dining menu curated by Daniele Sperindio, offering a mix of refined bar bites and more substantial plates. The menu moves fluidly across occasions, making it just as suited for casual daytime meetings as it is for evening drinks.
Beyond cocktails, the venue also introduces a slower, more considered pace to hotel dining. From afternoon tea experiences to breakfast offerings that range from classic Western plates to local favourites, the space is designed for lingering. Tucked just minutes from Orchard Road yet surrounded by greenery, Canning Bar and Lounge presents itself as a quiet retreat—an easy transition between the city’s energy and a more relaxed, garden-led setting.
