Mama Shelter has officially arrived in Singapore, marking the quirky French boutique hotel chain’s first outpost in Asia. Located on Killiney Road near Somerset MRT, the 115-room hotel stands apart from the usual sleek city stays with a riot of colour and playful design. Rooms are compact yet full of character, ranging from 15-square-metre bunk rooms to 17-square-metre doubles, with nearly half featuring private terraces. Expect maximalist patterns, eclectic touches, and even bedside lamps topped with Bugs Bunny masks.
Dining and entertainment take centre stage here. Guests can tuck into hearty meals at the lively restaurant and bar, grab coffee and bakes at Mama’s Kiss, or head up to the rooftop for Mediterranean-inspired bites, cocktails, and DJ sets under the stars. The rooftop also houses two swimming pools—one for adults and another for kids—making it a fun spot for both families and couples.
True to its playful spirit, Mama Shelter also offers pet-friendly spaces, arcade and board games, and regular live music performances. The hotel officially opens this September, with opening rates from $190 per night, inclusive of breakfast for two, for stays between September 23, 2025 and February 28, 2026.
