Shang Society

Shang Society is a contemporary casual dining concept that brings a modern twist to Huaiyang cuisine, a culinary tradition from the region around Shanghai. The menu features a blend of authentic flavors with localized ingredients, offering a unique take on classic dishes. Set in a stylish and Instagram-worthy ambiance, the restaurant also includes a VIP room designed for business entertainment.

The restaurant is best known for its signature Shanghainese dim sum and Northern Chinese dishes. Among the highlights are the “juice-popping” Sheng Jian Bao, a pan-fried pork bun with a crispy base and tender dough, filled with succulent minced meat and rich pork broth. Other standout offerings include the Rainbow Sheng Jian, a first in Singapore, alongside local-inspired favorites such as Classic Cereal Prawns and Typhoon Shelter Crabs.

Adding to its innovative menu, Shang Society introduces two exclusive Sino-Singaporean creations: Crispy Rice with Chili Crab Meat Sauce and Yangzhou Fried Rice with Chili Meat Sauce. Located at Scarlet Hotel, Singapore, this flagship outlet delivers a refined yet approachable dining experience, making it a must-visit destination for fans of Shanghainese cuisine.
