The National University of Singapore has introduced a new on-campus accommodation, The Ridge, designed specifically for visiting academics and institutional guests. Rather than a public hotel, the property caters to overseas faculty, research collaborators, executive programme participants, and conference delegates, supporting their work while in Singapore.
The Ridge offers 185 rooms across three categories. The 24 sqm Deluxe Room accommodates up to two guests with either a king or twin beds. The larger Premier Room (48 sqm) includes a separate living area, a bathtub, and space for up to three guests with a sofa bed. At the top tier, the 72 sqm Premier Suite features distinct dining, living, and bedroom areas, along with added amenities like a washer and dryer and a guest powder room. All rooms come with breakfast for one, Wi-Fi, in-room refreshments, workspace, and essential comforts for extended stays.
Facilities within the property include The Nest, a dedicated meeting space, and an outdoor deck overlooking the pool. Dining options nearby range from on-site spots like The Scholar and Café on The Ridge to campus favourites such as Bistro Box and the well-known NUS Supper Stretch. Guests are also within easy reach of landmarks like UTown, the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, and Kent Ridge Park, making it a convenient base within the university enclave.
