Kurasu Singapore serves the same lineup of coffee in their Kyoto branch, partnering with specialty roasters from around Japan, as well as provide their own coffee which they roast on a Giesen W6. Coffee is shipped fresh weekly on an express package, taking 2 days to reach from their cafes in Kyoto.
While Kurasu’s flagship outlet at Waterloo Street is a zen hideout perfect to chill and relax, its newest outpost, dubbed as ‘The Stand’, at Orchard Building requires java lovers to grab and go.
Their signature coffee remains the same – a 3-beans house blend with beans from Brazil, Guatemala and Ethiopia roasted in their Fushimi Inari roastery in Kyoto and shipped over weekly to Singapore. Besides brews, there are also sweet bakes like cookies for customers to pair their coffee with.
