Tokyo Brew Lab Brings Japanese-Style Coffee To The Concourse
A new coffee hideout has quietly opened opposite Nicoll Highway MRT, bringing a slice of Tokyo coffee culture to The Concourse. Tokyo Brew Lab is a Japanese-inspired pour-over coffee bar where the focus is on carefully brewed speciality coffee, seasonal beans and a relaxed setting that feels a world away from the bustle outside. The cosy space centres around a bar counter, with comfortable seating, a red feature wall lined with vinyl records and Japanese city pop setting the mood.
The hand-drip coffee is the star here, with beans rotated regularly according to the harvesting season and each cup brewed with plenty of attention to aroma and flavour. Guests can take a seat at the counter to watch the brewing process, or even try their hand at making their own cup with an in-house DIY brew kit. Alongside the speciality coffee, the daytime menu keeps things casual with Vietnamese-style drip coffee, sandos, breakfast plates and a popular banana cake.
Located on the first floor of The Concourse, Tokyo Brew Lab is the kind of neighbourhood coffee spot that rewards a slower morning. With its intimate atmosphere, rotating selection of beans and Tokyo-inspired aesthetic, it offers a refreshing alternative to the usual café crowd — whether stopping by for a quick morning coffee or settling in for a leisurely afternoon.
