TOHO Singapore announces the opening of the first-ever A-PRICE outlet outside Japan, in Singapore’s Tanjong Pagar district. The outlet marks the debut of Singapore’s first Japanese cash-and-carry store dedicated to the food and beverage industry, offering professional-grade ingredients and kitchen essentials at highly competitive prices. The new A-PRICE Singapore outlet will provide food and beverage operators access to a wide range of essential products including cooking oils, sauces, Japonica rice, sustainably farmed seafood, fresh fruits and vegetables, and other daily kitchen staples – all backed by TOHO Group’s established sourcing and logistics network.
A‑PRICE is a brand developed by TOHO Co., Ltd, a leading wholesale food distribution group founded in 1947 and listed on The Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime Market. The A-PRICE concept was first introduced in 1987 with its inaugural store in Nakatsu City, Oita Prefecture, Japan. Originally created as a cash‑and‑carry solution for food service operators underserved by traditional delivery models, such as eateries located outside delivery zones or businesses unable to meet minimum order quantities, A‑PRICE enabled customers to conveniently access professional‑grade ingredients without incurring higher delivery costs. Other First-Time Offerings in Singapore by A-PRICE
This is the first time toho coffee will be available outside Japan in a retail outlet as fresh brews, in whole beans, ground coffee and drip coffee packs. A long-standing core product supplied to hotels, restaurants and cafes across Japan since the 1950s. TOHO has developed extensive expertise in sourcing, blending and roasting coffee through its dedicated roastery facility located on Rokko Island in Kobe, Japan.
