Freshio Gelato has expanded its footprint with the opening of a second outlet at KADA in Maxwell, bringing its much-loved artisanal gelato to the heart of Singapore’s CBD. Set within a beautifully restored heritage building that once served as a hospital in the 1920s, the new space blends old-world charm with a relaxed, contemporary atmosphere. Just a short stroll from Maxwell MRT Station, it offers a welcoming spot for a mid-day treat or a leisurely dessert catch-up with friends.
Founded by 72-year-old Uncle KT and 75-year-old Aunty Stephanie, Freshio Gelato first gained a loyal following at its Bencoolen outlet, earning praise for its handcrafted gelato and warm hospitality. The Maxwell outpost continues that tradition, serving 16 flavours freshly churned in-house daily. Among the standouts are the signature Sicilian Pistachio Gelato, topped with crunchy pistachio bits, and the Turkish Hazelnut Gelato, both celebrated for their rich, creamy textures and robust nutty flavours.
Beyond its bestselling scoops, the new outlet introduces more ways to enjoy gelato, including indulgent Pistachio Affogato creations and gelato-filled panini. Located along the historic Kadayanallur Street, Freshio Gelato’s latest opening brings a taste of Italian-inspired craftsmanship to one of Singapore’s most vibrant neighbourhoods, inviting both locals and visitors to slow down and savour every spoonful.
