The Sports Arina at Jalan Kayu is set to open near Thanggam LRT station by end-April 2026, introducing a multi-sport facility designed for both casual play and structured training. Positioned as a comprehensive recreation hub for Fernvale residents, the space brings together a wide mix of indoor courts, pools, and fitness zones under one roof.
The line-up spans pickleball, padel, futsal, badminton, and table tennis courts, alongside a swimming pool, children’s training pool, gymnastics gym, pilates studio, and multi-purpose hall. There’s also a contrast therapy facility, adding a wellness component to the offering. Beyond infrastructure, the hub places strong emphasis on programming, with academies and classes led by established names in the sporting scene.
This includes swim programmes by Joseph Schooling through his Swim Lab, a table tennis academy by Feng Tianwei, and football training by Lion City Sailors. Thoughtfully designed with its residential surroundings in mind, the development incorporates soundproofing and greenery to balance activity with liveability, positioning it as a community-centric destination for sport, wellness, and youth development.
For now, the exact opening date has not been revealed. But those keen can submit their interest for TSA @ Jalan Kayu’s programmes and facilities through its official registration portal here.
