Changi Airport Group is set to unveil a new private terminal at Changi Airport by mid-2027, replacing the former CIP Terminal with a refreshed, premium travel hub. The redevelopment marks a significant upgrade from the original facility, with plans for expanded lounge areas, private suites, bespoke dining, and personalised concierge services designed to elevate the end-to-end airport experience.
Notably, long-time operator JetQuay will not return for the new concept. Instead, operations will be taken over by Plaza Premium Group, signalling a shift towards a more contemporary and globally aligned hospitality standard. The new terminal, located at Terminal 2’s southern node, will feature its own dedicated driveway and carpark, along with seamless transfers to boarding gates and direct access to the airport’s retail offerings.
The private terminal will also form part of an expanded Hub & Spoke district, envisioned as a broader lifestyle destination within the airport. Alongside the terminal, visitors can expect new dining options, wellness facilities, and pet-friendly spaces, anchored by Changi’s first covered amphitheatre and open-air plaza for events. Together, these enhancements position the development as both a high-end travel facility and a multi-functional lifestyle hub within the airport ecosystem.
