Korean restaurant BOMUL Samgyetang has introduced a new dessert concept with the opening of BOMUL Gelato Bar at CHIJMES, adding a playful, modern twist to its wellness-inspired dining concept. Known for its wide range of samgyetang variations, the brand now expands into sweets with a gelato bar that blends trendy flavours with Korean hanbang influences.

The gelato menu launches with six flavours, including original picks like ginseng and black sesame alongside newer creations such as Bonte pistachio and the limited-time Dubai Double Black Chocolate with pistachio kunafa. Each cup is priced at $7, with the flavours designed to reflect the same balance of indulgence and herbal inspiration that the main restaurant is known for. The dessert counter sits within the CHIJMES space, making it an easy add-on after a meal or a quick stop for something sweet.
To mark the opening, the gelato bar is also running a weekly promotion offering $1 gelato every Tuesday afternoon, limited to a set number of cups per day. With its mix of Korean wellness themes and viral-friendly dessert flavours, BOMUL Gelato Bar adds a fun new reason to visit CHIJMES, especially for those already familiar with the brand’s popular samgyetang.
