SAFRA Jurong is set for a major transformation, with an ambitious revamp that will see the addition of resort-style villas, a poolside café, and enhanced recreational facilities by early 2028. The redevelopment, scheduled to begin in late 2026 and span 1½ years, will refresh the 16-year-old clubhouse into what Minister of State for Defence Desmond Choo calls an “urban oasis.” Portions of the clubhouse will remain open during the phased works to continue serving national servicemen and their families.
The new design will introduce three-storey villas, two-storey duplexes, and one-storey studios — marking the first Safra clubhouse to offer staycation-style accommodations. These will replace the existing tennis courts and barbecue pits, giving members a fresh option for family getaways and gatherings in the west. Beyond lodging, the clubhouse will also feature upgraded swimming pools with new water play areas, a modern futsal court, expanded dining options, and smart training equipment at the EnergyOne gym.
Families can look forward to a refreshed Kidz Amaze indoor playground with new thematic features, while Safra continues to engage the community through feedback sessions to fine-tune the redevelopment plans. The transformation of SAFRA Jurong follows similar upgrades at its Mount Faber, Tampines, and Yishun clubhouses in recent years — reaffirming Safra’s ongoing commitment to creating vibrant, family-friendly spaces for Singapore’s national servicemen and their loved ones.
