For over twenty years, West Mall has been a cornerstone of the neighbourhood—a place where residents come together to connect and create shared memories. To strengthen its role as a vibrant community hub and better serve a growing population, the mall undertook a major Asset Enhancement Initiative (AEI). This extensive upgrade, which extends beyond surface-level improvements, has now been completed, transforming West Mall into a dynamic lifestyle destination.
At the centre of the revitalisation is Bukit Batok’s first Privately-Owned Public Space (POPS)—a sheltered public plaza designed to bring the community together through regular events and activities. Complementing this new space is the launch of a fully revamped Basement 1 wing. Once a car park, it has been converted into a bustling dining enclave that adds new life and energy to the mall.
The new dining wing features over 20 food and beverage outlets, introducing Singapore to exciting new brands like GOCHIYA and Lao Ma Bàn Mian, alongside crowd favourites such as Little Pond, Nan Yang Dao, and ZhangLiang MaLatang. With a vibrant mix of regional cuisines, the space caters to a wide range of tastes and preferences. More than just a food destination, this transformation reaffirms West Mall’s ongoing commitment to building inclusive, people-centric spaces that celebrate the heartland community.
