Mercedes-Benz is bringing its Studio concept to Southeast Asia for the first time with Mercedes-Benz Studio Singapore, opening to the public on September 2 at Gardens by the Bay. Housed within the Future of Us Pavilion near the new IMBA Theatre, the year-long destination reimagines the traditional car showroom as a broader lifestyle and community space, bringing together cars, art, food, retail and cultural programming.
The Studio joins similar temporary destinations in cities including Los Angeles, Copenhagen, Rome, Seoul and Tokyo, with each location shaped by its host city. In Singapore, the space is designed around the city’s creative and innovation-driven character, giving visitors a way to experience the Mercedes-Benz brand beyond its vehicles.
At the heart of the Studio is Canvas, an evolving platform for art and design where Mercedes-Benz models are presented alongside installations and collaborations with local and regional creatives. The opening programme features Liquid Studios Singapore, a commissioned digital artwork by Singapore-based Metamo Industries. The Studio will also showcase the all-new GLC 400 4MATIC electric, the electric version of Mercedes-Benz’s best-selling GLC, including its redesigned illuminated grille.

Commune brings together hospitality, retail and lifestyle elements, with the café and social hub furnished by local partners Commune and Stacked Store. Visitors can browse limited-edition merchandise, explore new product launches and experience a rotating programme of culinary and lifestyle collaborations. Its opening residency comes from Ferm, whose probiotic beverages reinterpret traditional fermentation through a contemporary approach.
The final space, Courtyard, is designed as a more open communal setting for gatherings, workshops and interactive activities. Its modular furniture allows the space to shift between different uses, while the programming brings together communities from sport, wellness, cycling and the creative scene. The first community weekend will feature Adidas Run Club, Rapha and TUNDRA, alongside creative workshops by Studio Wilt and a live screen-printing session by Tell Your Children.
Admission to Mercedes-Benz Studio Singapore is complimentary, with no appointment required, although selected programmes may require advance registration or separate tickets. The Studio will remain at Gardens by the Bay for one year, offering a rotating programme that gives visitors plenty of reasons to return beyond simply seeing the latest Mercedes-Benz models.
