A new Korean dining concept has recently opened at Velocity @ Novena Square, bringing a focused take on traditional herbal nourishment to Singapore. SAM SAM SAM Samgyetang centres its identity around boyang-sik—the Korean philosophy of food as restorative care—offering a space designed for both comfort and quiet recharge. Rooted in Hanbang wellness principles, the concept introduces a slower, more intentional style of dining built on balance and simplicity.
At the heart of the menu is its signature samgyetang, a ginseng chicken soup that is slow-simmered to draw out deep, nourishing flavours. Each bowl is prepared with premium ingredients such as ginseng, jujube, and glutinous rice, reflecting a commitment to both tradition and quality. Alongside this, the menu extends to other chicken-based dishes including dakgomtang, offering a concise yet thoughtful selection that stays true to its core philosophy.
Spanning over 2,000 square feet, the restaurant is designed as a warm, restorative environment that complements the experience of the food. The concept comes from the team behind MODU Samgyetang, known for popularising samgyetang as a specialty locally. With SAM SAM SAM, they bring a renewed focus on everyday nourishment—creating a space where diners can return to, whether for a quiet meal or a more meaningful gathering.
