Located in the basement of Changi Airport Terminal 3, 886 Taiwan Ye Shi is a newly opened casual Taiwanese restaurant that brings the lively atmosphere of Taiwan’s famous night markets to Singapore. Inspired by the historic Shifen railway station, the spacious restaurant features a nostalgic train cabin, railway tracks embedded into the floor, and glowing digital sky lanterns overhead, creating a fun, transportive setting for diners. With a pork-free and lard-free menu, it caters to a broad audience while recreating many of Taiwan’s most recognisable street food favourites.
The menu spans comforting noodle soups, rice bowls, fried snacks and Taiwanese beverages. Signature dishes include Jiang Mu Ji La Mian with a hearty chicken broth, Signature XO Fried Rice topped with prawns, the Signature Trio Bowl Set featuring Lu Rou Fan, Oyster Mee Sua and Chicken Sesame Rice, as well as crispy Deep Fried Xiao Long Bao available in both original and mala flavours. Other familiar favourites include XXL fried chicken cutlets, beef noodles, bubble milk tea and a wide selection of Taiwanese night market-inspired snacks, making it an easy spot for a casual meal before or after a flight.
More than just an airport dining option, 886 Taiwan Ye Shi offers a light-hearted taste of Taiwan through both its immersive railway-themed interiors and approachable menu. Whether travellers are craving a comforting bowl of mee sua, a quick bubble tea, or simply a nostalgic reminder of Taiwan’s vibrant street food culture, the new Terminal 3 restaurant brings a slice of the island’s bustling night market experience to Changi Airport.
