Kweichow Moutai marks a new chapter in its international journey with the opening of Moutai House Singapore in October. Set within the historic Fullerton Waterboat House, the three-storey lifestyle destination offers guests new and engaging ways to experience Moutai through culture, craftsmanship, collecting, gastronomy and contemporary cocktails. Moutai House is the world’s first Moutai brand experience space developed in accordance with the China Moutai Global Retail Store Identity System, marking a significant milestone in Moutai’s global brand presence.
More than a showcase for China’s most celebrated spirits, Moutai House Singapore has been conceived as a welcoming destination for both longtime aficionados and a new generation of curious drinkers. Guests can explore Moutai’s heritage through a multisensory discovery experience, encounter rare and collectible vintages, enjoy specially created food pairings, or take in Singapore’s skyline over Moutai-inspired cocktails.
The opening brings together three leading names under one roof: Kweichow Moutai, China’s national spirit; Singapore-founded Imperial Treasure, with a total of 8 MICHELIN Stars worldwide; and the team behind acclaimed Singapore bar Nutmeg & Clove. Together, they present a multifaceted interpretation of Moutai, one rooted in Chinese heritage while reflecting Singapore’s cosmopolitan dining and social culture.
With a distinguished production heritage spanning centuries, Moutai has been a cherished and enduring emblem of China’s culture and craftsmanship. Its opening at one of Singapore’s best-known waterfront landmarks marks a new chapter in Moutai’s international growth and consumer-focused evolution, strengthening the brand’s direct engagement with consumers through unique and distinctive experiences.

A Welcoming Lifestyle Destination For Craft and Taste
Moutai has long accompanied life’s most meaningful occasions, from celebrations and reunions to personal and professional milestones. Crafted through an intricate production process refined over generations, the spirit embodies time-honoured expertise as well as the distinctive climate, landscape and natural ingredients of its place of origin.
Moutai House Singapore brings this rich story to life across three interconnected storeys, each presenting a different way to encounter the distinctive sauce-aroma baijiu. Its interplay of sweet, savoury, sour, umami and bitter notes opens up diverse possibilities, from traditional appreciation and comparative tastings to culinary pairings and cocktail making.
Whether discovering Moutai for the first time, seeking a meaningful birth-year vintage, exploring its versatility alongside fine cuisine, or enjoying it in a rooftop cocktail, guests can shape their own journey through the house – from discovery and appreciation to dining and socialising.
The destination comprises three key consumer-focused experiences:
Moutai Experiential Centre
The Moutai Experiential Centre takes guests on a multisensory journey through the culture, history and craftsmanship behind Moutai. Through sight, scent, touch and taste, visitors can learn about its ingredients, production techniques, flavour profile and enduring place in Chinese culture.
A centrepiece is Southeast Asia’s first dedicated birth-year Moutai collection, featuring annual vintages dating back to 1965, the year Singapore gained independence. Guests can seek out bottles connected to birthdays, anniversaries and other milestones, transforming a vintage into a deeply personal gift or keepsake.

The centre will showcase more than 300 exclusive and collectible Moutai labels. The selection ranges from approachable bottles to exceptional rarities valued at up to S$1 million, offering an unprecedented view of the breadth and evolution of Moutai.
Exclusive to Singapore is the Kweichow Moutai Discovery Collection – Singapore, featuring Nanyang-inspired design blending traditional Chinese motifs with Southeast Asian influences. Here, the vivid red palette inspired by the classic Feitian trademark is beautifully unified with Singapore’s national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim.
Imperial Treasure Moutai House
Singapore-founded Imperial Treasure partners with Moutai to present an elegant dining experience centred on refined Huaiyang cuisine and the vibrant flavours of Guizhou.
Building on Imperial Treasure’s MICHELIN-standard culinary excellence and its acclaimed dining establishments worldwide, the collaboration will demonstrate how Moutai can be appreciated at the dining table, not only as a spirit for toasting, but as a refined accompaniment to carefully crafted Chinese cuisine.

SOHAUS
Crowning the destination is SOHAUS, a rooftop social house overlooking Singapore’s skyline and waterfront. Its name combines “Social” and “Haus”, a stylised interpretation of “House”, reflecting its identity as the city’s living room above it all.
SOHAUS is developed through a partnership between Moutai House and Singapore’s homegrown Nutmeg Collective, whose flagship bar Nutmeg & Clove ranked #12 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 and #50 on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025. It brings together the collective’s expertise in cocktails and hospitality with Moutai House’s heritage and vision, creating a rooftop social house overlooking Singapore’s skyline and waterfront. SOHAUS is a space for gathering, unwinding and taking in the city. From sundown into the night, cocktails, conversation, music and culture come together under one roof.
Its drinks programme will feature eight original signature cocktails showcasing Moutai, alongside eight classics reinterpreted with Moutai-inspired flavours and elements. Designed for both seasoned baijiu drinkers and those discovering the spirit for the first time, the menu offers a contemporary and approachable introduction to Moutai’s versatility and complex flavour profile, while celebrating its deep-rooted place in Chinese hospitality and culture.
Opening details: Moutai House Singapore will open to the public in end-October at The Fullerton Waterboat House.
