LONGJING Restaurant 绿茶餐厅 has opened its second Singapore outlet at Velocity @ Novena Square, marking a quick expansion following its debut at Suntec City. Originally founded in Hangzhou, the brand is known for spotlighting Zhejiang cuisine—a regional style rooted in the Southern Song Dynasty that leans towards lighter, cleaner flavours, offering a refreshing alternative to richer or heavily spiced Chinese fare.
The new Novena space carries over the brand’s signature aesthetic, drawing inspiration from traditional Jiangnan water towns. Expect warm wood tones, soft lighting, and a calm, intimate atmosphere that feels slightly more tucked away compared to its first outlet. The setting complements the cuisine’s philosophy—subtle, balanced, and quietly comforting.
On the menu, the focus remains on familiar signatures that highlight the finesse of Zhejiang cooking. Dishes such as the Longjing roast chicken, infused with tea aromatics, and the slow-braised Dongpo pork anchor the offering, alongside a range of shareable plates designed for communal dining. With its approachable flavours and considered setting, the new outlet brings a more understated, everyday take on regional Chinese cuisine to the Novena area.
