Capital is back! Homegrown international entertainment and lifestyle leader Zouk Group officially reopened its premier nightclub Capital, unveiling a sweeping transformation that reimagines the space for connection and community.
The reopening of Capital marks the first first milestone in the Group’s larger renovation of its nightlife venues and focuses on bold new design and quality curated programming.
“Capital represents everything we hold dear: genuine connection, exceptional experiences, and a close-knit community,” says Andrew Li, CEO of Zouk Group. “This is nightlife with intention. Our Singapore clubs and F&B venues at Clarke Quay will be completely transformed by midyear; this reopening is an exciting preview of the new vision of Zouk to come.”
Reimagining Capital was guided by a single intention: bringing people closer together. Designed by internationally acclaimed creative partners Josh Held Design to prioritise connection over spectacle, the revamped club boasts considered architectural and aesthetic features, designed with only one goal in mind: to bring people closer together.
With 25 sofas and 12 standing tables across two rooms, the space accommodates 542 comfortably, adorned in gold trimmings & accents. At the heart of it all remains the iconic island bar — a glowing centrepiece that anchors the room, acting as a gravitational hub where conversations begin and the evening takes shape. An all-new state-of-the-art surround-sound system ensures that every corner of the club pulsates to the beat.
Completing the refresh is an entirely new private karaoke room offering an exclusive sanctuary within the club for groups up to 25. With a dry bar that allows for a personal bartender service, it’s the perfect intimate venue for big-group milestone celebrations- birthdays, farewells, and after-wedding parties.

REOPENING NIGHT CELEBRATION
Capital’s grand reopening on Thursday, 12 March was an electric night of glamour and energy. Guests from across Singapore’s social and creative spheres dressed up and turned out to be among the first to experience the all-new club. VIP guests such as Germaine Leonora, Julie Tan, David Matthew and Raynold Tan walked the striking navy carpet and panned to the cameras.
This glamorous entrance gave way to a contemporary lion dance over champagne. Resident DJs Rattle & Gainzter got the party started and warmed up the crowd. Throughout the night, the energy was palpable.
