Din Tai Fung, the globally acclaimed Taiwanese restaurant recognised by the Michelin Guide, is proud to announce the highly anticipated opening of its premier elevated dining concept in Singapore on 25 June 2025, at WEAVE @ Resorts World Sentosa (RWS). This landmark opening is spearheaded by BreadTalk Group that also manages Din Tai Fung restaurants in the United Kingdom and Thailand.
This 28th restaurant marks a significant milestone for Din Tai Fung as the brand celebrates 22 years in Singapore. The opening also heralds a new chapter that builds on decades of culinary heritage while redefining modern Taiwanese dining for today’s discerning guests.
The spacious 250-seater restaurant will feature Din Tai Fung’s first cocktail bar in Asia, alongside a menu showcasing timeless favourites and NEW creations exclusive to RWS. Notably, it will be the first Din Tai Fung restaurant to introduce hands-on experiences such as Xiao Long Bao making workshops, tea etiquette and cocktail pairing sessions.
Guests can also explore a dedicated retail space offering merchandise from Taiwan and Ready-To-Heat products, extending the Din Tai Fung experience beyond the dining table.
SIP IN STYLE
Setting this restaurant apart is an elegant welcome bar where guests begin their journey with tipples thoughtfully inspired by Taiwanese tradition and local flavours.
The highlight of this new offering is a trio of signature cocktails, each inspired by a character
in the name, Din Tai Fung (鼎泰豐), symbolising heritage, harmony, and abundance.
Din 鼎 ($30), is a delicate yet vibrant creation ideal for those who appreciate floral and fruity profiles. Composed of Bombay Sapphire Gin, homemade jasmine syrup, lychee juice, strawberry purée and a splash of lemon juice, this aromatic tipple offers a refreshing prelude to the meal.
Tai 泰 ($30), evoking peace and balance, is a tropical-inspired blend that reflects the symbolism of pineapple lanterns – a symbol of good fortune. It features citrus-infused Patrón Silver Tequila, fresh pineapple, lime juice, and a drizzle of honey, creating a zesty and uplifting combination that balances sweetness with a tangy edge.
Fung 豐 ($30), represents abundance and brings a deeper, spiced character to the repertoire. Assembled with Bacardi Spiced Rum, Bénéroy Fine Calvados, fragrant house-made lemongrass and ginger syrup, lemon juice, and a hint of ginger beer, this drink boasts bold dimensions with a soothing warmth.
In addition to these three unique creations, guests can opt for moreish bar bites like Taiwanese Fried Chicken 盐酥鸡 ($9.80) and Taiwanese Crispy Battered Squid 酥炸鱿鱼 ($11.80), perfect for pairing with an ice-cold beer or refreshing cocktail.

ICONIC SIGNATURES, FRESH INNOVATIONS
The new restaurant is poised to offer both local and international guests a memorable dining experience. While perennial favourites such as the Steamed Pork Xiao Long Bao 小笼包 remain, guests can anticipate refined interpretations of classic dishes made with handpicked ingredients to exacting standards.
One highlight is the Steamed Beef Tenderloin Xiao Long Bao 牛柳小笼包 ($18 for 6pc | $27 for 10 pc). These skilfully prepared dumplings conceal a delightful surprise within their delicate pleated wrappers. Made with premium minced beef tenderloin, each dumpling delivers a burst of silken, umami-rich broth that coats the palate with a deep, satisfying flavour – a masterful demonstration of time-honoured technique applied to quality ingredients. This sumptuous filling is also offered in the form of Steamed Beef Tenderloin Buns 牛柳包 ($4.80 per pc | $13.80 for 3 pc).
Wild-caught Boston lobster from the North Atlantic crowns a bed of springy noodles in this indulgent Premium Lobster Dry Noodle in Chef’s Seafood Sauce 龙虾干拌面佐秘制海鲜酱 ($39.80). The housemade seafood sauce mingles with a fragrant shredded scallop mixture – slow-fried with top-quality dried scallops, shrimp, and chilli – delivering rich, aromatic depth.
Velvety onsen eggs made with pasteurised eggs, fresh leeks, and spring onions complete this decadent celebration of the ocean’s finest offerings.
A thoughtful tribute to Singapore’s culinary heritage, these exquisite buns celebrate the island’s tropical soul. Steamed Yuzu Coconut Buns 香柚椰子包 ($3 per pc | $8.50 for 3 pc) features delicate skin infused with grated coconut and palm sugar, creating layers of natural sweetness and texture. Within lies a revelatory filling where rich coconut milk meets bright, tangy yuzu – a sublime marriage of Southeast Asian warmth and Japanese elegance.
Steamed Kaya Buns 椰香咖椰包 ($3 per pc | $8.50 for 3 pc) pay homage to Peranakan tradition, its dough kissed with palm sugar that imparts a gentle caramel hue and subtle sweetness. Toasted grated coconut weaves through every bite, creating the aromatic depth that speaks of spice routes and heritage kitchens. Both buns showcase premium medium-gluten flour worked with artisanal precision, yielding pillowy softness that melts on the tongue, each mouthful a nostalgic journey through Singapore’s flavour memories.
A medley of steamed buns and snacks is also available, including Honey Chocolate Buns 蜜香可可流心包 ($4.20 per pc | $12 for 3 pc) and Steamed Osmanthus Longan Cake 桂花龙眼蒸糕 ($12.50 for 2 pc).
