Pokémon Singapore will reopen the Pokémon Center SINGAPORE at Jewel Changi Airport on 1 July 2026. This marks the first full-scale renovation of a Pokémon Center store outside Japan, featuring interior design and merchandise inspired by Singapore’s unique heritage.
New Symbol Pokémon for Pokémon Center SINGAPORE
The Legendary Pokémon, Solgaleo, will serve as the new symbol for Pokémon Center.
SINGAPORE, featured on the new store logo and façade. With its mane reminiscent of the sun, Solgaleo will welcome all visitors, shining brightly and resonating with Pokémon fans and communities across Singapore.
“We are truly humbled by the continued enthusiasm from our fans in Singapore and beyond. In order to live up to those expectations, we hope to inspire even greater love for Pokémon, and encourage fans to visit Pokémon Center SINGAPORE to fully immerse themselves in the experience with this renewed store. We chose Solgaleo — the Legendary Pokémon recognisable by its sun-like mane — as our new symbol because we want this store to be more deeply rooted in Singapore,” said Shunsuke Sasaki, Managing Director of Pokémon Singapore. “This marks a new chapter for us in Singapore. This is not just a grand reopening, but a commitment to elevate the store experience by transforming Pokémon Center SINGAPORE into a place where people from all walks of life can come to love Pokémon, and where fans can connect globally.”

A Space Reflecting Singapore
The interior design of the store draws inspiration from Singapore’s cultural heritage, incorporating local elements as a way to enhance and elevate the appeal of Pokémon. These touches create a sense of familiarity for local fans, while offering visitors a uniquely contextualised Pokémon experience.
Standing majestically at the store’s façade, the Legendary Pokémon, Solgaleo, and Pikachu will greet guests in a bold and dynamic display. This visual presentation evokes Singapore’s skyline, making it a perfect photo opportunity moment.
In response to the growing presence of local Pokémon fans, the Pokémon Center SINGAPORE has created a dedicated event space located at the rear of the store. Equipped with a large-format monitor, this space will be able to host events centered on video game, trading card game (TCG), and app gaming. Strategically located at Jewel Changi Airport, the center serves not only as a place for local fans, but a hub for Pokémon fans from around the world to battle, trade, and connect.
Commemorative Merchandise Revealed
In celebration of the grand reopening, commemorative merchandise will be released. The artwork vividly imagines Pokémon living in a cityscape evoking Singapore’s unique culture.
Curated for the launch, these products are an ode to life in Singapore featuring plush toys of the Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo and Pikachu, as well as merchandise inspired by the iconic kopi cup. All 20 new unique products are specially designed for Pokémon Center SINGAPORE, with the first 12 items going on sale at the grand reopening. A second wave of newly curated products will be launched in August which includes a bag charm depicting the beloved Pikachu and a cup of kopi.
