Nestled within the lush greenery of Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, Shared Table is a new parkside café serving thoughtful, feel-good food that celebrates the simple pleasures of sharing a meal. Opening its doors on 14 September 2026, the concept marks the latest venture by Jerls Su, the entrepreneur behind Average Service, in collaboration with Jazreel Low, Spa Director of Aramsa – The Garden Spa, whose work has long championed rest, restoration and intentional living.
Drawing from Jerls’ experience across F&B and lifestyle concepts including Average Service, Potato Head, ChaTraMue and the first-ever Keongsaik Carnival, Shared Table marks his latest venture. Together, Jerls and Jazreel have reimagined what it means to nourish – not just the body, but moments spent around the table.
Surrounded by greenery, Shared Table is designed to complement every part of a day at the park – whether guests are winding down after a morning walk, catching up over lunch, or simply enjoying an unhurried afternoon outdoors. The alfresco area is also pet-friendly, allowing one to dine alongside their furry companions.
Jerls enthuses,“With Shared Table, we wanted to create a space where people can come together over thoughtfully prepared food, while taking the chance to pause and savour the experience of enjoying a meal together. Food has always been about more than what’s on the plate, but also about how we spend our time, the spaces we spend it in, and the connections we build with the people around us.”

NOURISHING THE BODY
The brand celebrates honest, thoughtfully prepared dishes crafted with quality ingredients and each offering is designed to feed both body and mind.
Food
At the heart of the menu is the Nourish Plate (From $21.90 onwards), inspired by the Japanese principle of Ichiju Sansai (一汁三菜) – “one soup, three dishes”– a philosophy centred on balance, variety and mindful eating. Guests may select a choice of grain, one protein, two sides and a soup of the day, making it just as satisfying for a light lunch as it is for a proper sit-down dinner, and promising great value for a thoughtfully composed, all-day dining option.
Grains
Options for the grain include Lemon Herbed Rice, fluffy short grain tossed with dill, lemon juice, lemon zest and olive oil for a bright, herbaceous lift; and Couscous with Furikake and Kombu, gently cooked in kombu stock with wakame for a subtle umami depth; as well as the Cold Buckwheat Soba served with Tsuyu and Udon with Miso Soup.
Protein
For the protein, guests will be spoilt for choice with an abundance of options and they may look forward to the Ginger Sesame Oil Chicken Thigh, oven-roasted to a deep, caramelised finish and crowned with fried ginger strips; the Hainanese Sous Vide Chicken Breast, marinated in an aromatic ginger paste, gently sous vide for maximum tenderness, and finished with a glossy, homemade soy sauce; as well as the Lemongrass Chicken Thigh, roasted with lemongrass, shallot, ginger and garlic, finished with a drizzle of Thai chilli sauce. The Honey Glazed Goji Smoked Duck has its fat rendered until the skin turns crisp while the meat stays succulent, before being glazed in a honey-soy reduction studded with goji berries.
Seafood lovers can look forward to the Crispy Miso Salmon, marinated in a housemade honey and miso mixture before being oven-baked to a lacquered, caramelised crust, alongside the Baked Halibut with Capsicum Escabeche – an inspired version of the sweet and sour variety. Vegetarians are equally well catered for with the Gong Bao Lions Mane Mushroom, a sweet and mildly spicy take on the popular Sichuan style of cooking.
Sides
Adding more fodder to the plate is a selection of sides from Spicy Bonito Sprouts and Edamame for a fresh crunch; Corn Succotash; Couscous Salad with Sesame Dressing tossed in a nutty sesame dressing; Mentai Potato Salad; Gong Bao Tempeh with Cashew Nuts, and a decadent Truffle Pasta Mushroom Salad, ensuring diners can build a plate suited to any craving, any time of day.
Soup
To complete the set, the soup of the day rotates between Creamy Pumpkin Soup; Lobster Bisque; comforting Miso Soup; earthy Mushroom Soup; and ABC soup – offering something new to look forward to with each visit, whatever time they choose to drop by.
Each item is also available à la carte.
Beyond the Nourish Plates, guests may also enjoy delectable café staples like the Grilled Chicken Skewers ($14.90), cubed chicken thigh marinated in cumin, paprika, salt and pepper, char-grilled and finished with a side of refreshing housemade tzatziki sauce, served alongside warm pita bread; or the Hummus with Roasted Mushroom ($18.90), a silky, housemade hummus blended from chickpea, tahini, shallot and garlic, crowned with a mound of sautéed shimeiji mushrooms for an earthy finish, served with warm pita bread for scooping.
For something sweet, the Protein Pancake with Caramelised Banana ($17.90) is packed with 32g of protein, served alongside gula melaka and housemade peanut butter sauce, or opt for the Coconut Ice Cream with Chopped Peanut ($5.90), rich, creamy coconut ice cream finished with a satisfying crunch of chopped peanuts and a drizzle of gula melaka.
Drinks
Sip on coffee, roasted by Brawn and Brains and specially blended for Shared Table (from $6.50 onwards) and artisanal matcha (from $6.50 onwards), alongsideHerbal Teas(from $7 onwards) from homegrown label Tily Tea Singapore, a nod to Shared Table’s love for spotlighting local names. Fitting for its parkside setting, the herbal tea selection offers calming options, each crafted for a different benefit. Highlights include The Evening Calm, a floral tea with lavender and chamomile for a restful finish; The Deep Cleanse, grounded in burdock root with a soft rose finish for a gentle detox; and the Radiant Glow, blending Solomon Seal and red clover for a boost of skin nourishment and glow.
For something more spirited, imbibe in cocktails (from $20 onwards) crafted in-house and available throughout the day, featuring flavours crafted just for Shared Table. Standouts include Thai Basil Gimlet ($18) a herbaceous, fiery twist on the classic, combining gin, Thai basil, lemongrass and chilli padi, and The Golden Mango ($21), a vibrant, spiced sipper of tequila, turmeric, mango and chilli.

NOURISHING THE HEART, SOUL AND COMMUNITY
To create spaces that encourage connection has always been central to Jerls’ approach to hospitality. From Average Service’s identity as a lifestyle-driven hub to Shared Table, Jerls believes that a dining space is never simply about what is served on the plate, but also the conversations and moments that unfold around it.
Looking ahead, Shared Table plans to introduce a retail corner featuring local produce, clean products and in-house brews, alongside lifestyle programming such as Sunday markets, workshops and collaborations with fitness and wellness partners.
Through these offerings, Shared Table hopes to extend the ritual of sharing beyond dining – creating a space where every gathering, big or small, finds its place around the table.
A FEAST FOR THE EYES
Shared Table’s interior takes its cue from its setting, extending the greenery of Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park into the room itself. An earthy, softly mottled floor grounds the café, complemented by wooden furniture and a sage green palette that ties every corner together, echoing the biophilic character of the space. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow natural sunlight to filter generously through the interiors, creating a bright, welcoming atmosphere that evolves throughout the day. At the centre of it all sits a communal table, a natural gathering point for people to come together, crafted from upcycled local timber and sourced from Timber Actually.
During daylight hours, the sunlit interiors make for an airy setting perfect for leisurely meals and catch-ups over food, where baristas work their magic in full view of customers. As evening falls, the interior transforms into a warm and intimate retreat: a lounge area decked out in an alluring maroon invites all to settle in and unwind, offering a relaxed backdrop for dinners, date nights and heartfelt conversations. In addition, the spacious and pet-friendly alfresco area extends the experience outdoors, allowing everyone to enjoy the foliage around them while dining at their own pace.
Shared Table is more than just a dining destination; it is a place where guests return not only for the food, but for the stories, connections and moments they become part of.
