Super Nintendo World has officially been confirmed for Universal Studios Singapore, marking one of the biggest additions to Sentosa’s next-generation tourism plans. The announcement forms part of the newly unveiled Greater Sentosa Master Plan, the government’s long-term blueprint to transform Sentosa and Pulau Brani into a larger, more connected leisure destination over the next two decades.
While opening dates have yet to be announced, the Singapore land is expected to draw heavily from the acclaimed Super Nintendo World parks in Osaka, Hollywood and Orlando. Visitors can likely look forward to entering through the iconic green Warp Pipe, exploring Princess Peach’s Castle, collecting digital coins with Power-Up Bands, and experiencing signature attractions such as Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge and Yoshi’s Adventure. Fans are also hoping Singapore will include Donkey Kong Country and the thrilling Mine-Cart Madness coaster, which currently appears in the newer international versions of the land.
The confirmation comes alongside a broader wave of upcoming Sentosa developments, including the Imbiah Canopy lookout, the Imbiah Lookout Walk forest canopy trail, and Sensorium, a new lifestyle and indoor attractions precinct along Siloso Beach. Future plans also include beach rejuvenation projects, floating boardwalks between offshore islets, and a new people-mover transport system that will eventually replace the existing Sentosa Express, positioning Greater Sentosa as a major new tourism and lifestyle district for the 2030s and beyond.
