The former InterContinental Singapore has officially entered a new era as Frasers House, a Luxury Collection Hotel, bringing ultra-luxe sensibilities to the heart of Bugis. Opened on 7 January 2026 through a partnership between Frasers Hospitality and Marriott International, the five-star hotel places guests at the centre of one of Singapore’s most vibrant neighbourhoods—where street art, indie boutiques, heritage kopitiams and contemporary cafés collide.
Perfectly positioned near Bugis MRT and just steps from Kampong Glam, Arab Street and the Bras Basah–Bugis arts district, Frasers House is designed as both a cultural gateway and a refined retreat. Its refreshed interiors draw from Peranakan influences, layered with contemporary lines, artisanal detailing and subtle references to Bugis’ storied past. Once fully transformed, the hotel will offer over 400 thoughtfully designed rooms and suites that reflect the character and creative energy of the district.
Dining and events are also part of the evolution, with refreshed concepts at established venues like Luce and Man Fu Yuan, each spotlighting the essence of their respective cuisines. The hotel’s 1,000 sqm of upgraded event spaces—including a grand ballroom and the Library—continue to cater to weddings, corporate gatherings and private celebrations, while wellness facilities, a fitness centre and an outdoor pool offer calm moments away from the city’s buzz. While renovations roll out in phases, Frasers House remains open and welcoming guests under its new Luxury Collection identity.
