MARINA BAY SANDS USHERS NEW ERA OF LUXURY HOSPITALITY AS IT COMPLETES HOTEL ROOM TRANSFORMATION.
The landmark completion of all guest rooms and suites comes after Marina Bay Sands celebrated its 15th anniversary and 500 millionth visitor.
Reaching its most significant milestone in a multi-year, US$1.75 billion transformation, Marina Bay Sands has completed its hotel room renovations, launching a full inventory of approximately 1,850 rooms, including 775 suites. This development follows dual celebrations at the integrated resort, which recently welcomed its 500 millionth visitor and marked its 15th anniversary.
The Sands Collection was fully refreshed last week – one of two distinct hotel collections launched under the transformation, which was first announced in 2022. Designed to be an urban sanctuary in the heart of the city, The Sands Collection has some 1,480 rooms and suites. It offers an extensive accommodation portfolio, from the elegant Sands Premier Room to the family-centric Sands Family Suite, catering to wide-ranging guest profiles. A Premium Services team attends to select guests, ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience and supporting them throughout their stay.
The ultra-luxurious Paiza Collection, which features mostly suites, offers some 370 best-in-class accommodation. This includes the three- to four-bedroom Chairman Suite fit for entertaining on a grand scale, with its 146″ television, karaoke facilities and fully stocked kitchen; the two bedroom Presidential Suite fitted out with a golf simulator loaded with world-renowned golf courses; and the one-bedroom Horizon Suite with its rejuvenating spa-in-a-city concept, comprising a Himalayan salt wall, hammam shower, dry sauna, private gym and two massage tables.
Highlights for Paiza guests range from the Paiza VIP Arrival, an exclusive arrival lounge with private lifts to suites, to the Paiza Sky Residence, an executive club lounge set atop the hotel. Guests receive round-the-clock service from a 160-strong Butler Services team – one of the largest butler teams in the world. Within a year of operation, The Paiza Collection received the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Rating in February, a nod at its unmatched luxury and impeccable service.

With the extensive room renovations crossing the finishing line, Marina Bay Sands now offers a total of 775 suites, up from 180 prior to the revamp.
Paul Town, Chief Operating Officer of Marina Bay Sands, said, “Our US$1.75 billion reinvestment programme represents our highest ambitions to usher in a new era of luxury hospitality. With the programme reaching substantial completion and the hotel room transformation crossing the finishing line, the stage is set for us to build on last year’s record earnings and soar towards greater heights. We will continue to provide exceptional guest experiences and cement Singapore’s position as a leading tourism destination.”
Following the completion of the room renovations, the reinvestment programme will next see the launch of Jin Ting Wan (1$E,}), the property’s fully owned and operated authentic Cantonese restaurant, in July this year. Other refurbishments include LAVO Italian Restaurant & Rooftop Bar in the second half of the year.
Also in the pipeline are lobby enhancements and a new spa. More details will be announced later.
Family fun at the new family suites
Since the launch of the reinvestment programme, Marina Bay Sands has introduced new hotel, lifestyle and dining experiences. In February, the property launched its luxury family travel experiences for parents with young children, rolling out 51 Sands and Paiza Family Suites, as well as a new family-centric programme. Each suite features a dedicated children’s room decked out with bunk beds, a Nintendo Switch console, a bookshelf filled with storybooks, and exclusively curated Adventure Packs featuring Rori, Marina Bay Sands’ brave little plush lion mascot. A kitchenette, stocked with baby food, child-friendly furniture, cooking appliances and flatware, allows families to travel light.

Premium lifestyle and dining offerings introduced
With the rise of wellness travel, the property launched an in-house Where Mind & Body Connect wellness programme last year, leveraging its iconic architecture to offer sound meditation, yoga and pilates classes at SkyPark Observation Deck and aqua fit workouts at the Infinity Pool. These complement wellness amenities found in rooms, from massage chairs to a premium water programme designed by a water sommelier.
The transformation has extended beyond the hotel. In recent years, acclaimed dining destinations such as Greek fine dining restaurant estiatorio Milos, celebrity chef Daniel Boulud’s French dining concept Maison Boulud and celebrity chef Tetsuya Wakuda’s WAKUDA Restaurant & Bar have opened their doors, further exemplifying the integrated resort’s position as a leading dining destination in Asia.
Set to open in July, Jin Ting Wan will tell the next chapter of Marina Bay Sands’ culinary legacy. The 166-seater venue will offer diners a breathtaking view of the city’s skyline and towering skyscrapers from Hotel Tower 1, Level 55. It promises an immersive gastronomic journey, showcasing the finest ingredients and cooking techniques, as well as a curated beverage programme.
