Changi Airport offers a first look at its highly anticipated fifth terminal through T5 in the Making, a free immersive exhibition that unveils the ideas shaping Singapore’s next chapter in air travel. While Terminal 5 has been in planning since 2013 and is set to open in the mid-2030s, the exhibition gives visitors a timely glimpse into what’s already underway behind the scenes.
Spanning five multisensory zones enhanced with AI elements, T5 in the Making explores the design philosophy, technological innovations, and systems planned for the future terminal. One of the highlights is a large-scale installation tracing the transformation of reclaimed land into what would become one of the world’s most celebrated airports, offering both historical context and a forward-looking vision of Changi’s evolution.
Visitors are also invited to actively participate by imagining their own version of Terminal 5 through interactive stations that visualise possibilities for the airport’s future. Running from 6 January 2026 to March 2026, the exhibition is open daily from 10am to 8pm, with free admission via online registration. Thoughtful, informative, and engaging, T5 in the Making turns a long-awaited infrastructure project into an experience that sparks curiosity and imagination.
