Bacchic has arrived on Keong Saik Road, bringing a touch of French sophistication to Singapore’s growing wine scene. More than just a boutique, Bacchic reimagines the wine retail experience as a sensory journey through France’s most storied regions — from Burgundy to Bordeaux. Designed by Tsukurto, the elegant space draws inspiration from the graceful curves of a wine bottle, with interiors divided into four seasonal zones. The main retail area, accented with dark wood and soft lighting, evokes autumnal warmth and sets the stage for a refined yet welcoming experience that blends craftsmanship with modern luxury.
Behind this distinctive concept is Restaurant Lifestyle Asia founder Raymond Lim, whose vision transforms wine shopping into something akin to a luxury fashion experience. Bacchic houses over 500 labels and 1,500 bottles, each carefully curated by CEO Nicolas Laurent and his team. The focus rests firmly on Old World wines, spotlighting France’s renowned regions like Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Champagne. The collection balances accessibility and prestige, catering to both casual enthusiasts and dedicated collectors. While the boutique offers treasures such as rare vintages and large-format bottles, its philosophy centres on discovery — guiding guests toward wines that excite the palate rather than overwhelm it.
Adding to the boutique’s charm are its private tasting rooms, where guests can savour vintages in an intimate setting that mirrors the elegance of a Parisian salon. Bacchic’s team refreshes the selection weekly, ensuring there’s always something new to explore — from timeless French classics to emerging regions that promise to intrigue. With its seamless blend of design, hospitality, and expertise, Bacchic stands as a celebration of wine culture in Singapore’s historic Chinatown, inviting visitors to linger, learn, and indulge in the art of the pour.
