Maison Margiela brings its signature storytelling through scent to life with House of Memories, an immersive pop-up café experience now open in Singapore until May 18, 2025. Located near Bugis, the two-storey space blends fragrance, fantasy, and food, inviting visitors to explore its Replica collection through a series of experiential zones. Guests can sample bestsellers like Lazy Sunday Morning and By the Fireplace within themed rooms that evoke the mood of each scent—complete with fluffy pillows, beach chairs, or a crackling hearth. A darker, dreamier experience awaits in the Fantasies room, where bold Eau de Parfums like Soul of the Forest and Dancing on the Moon are paired with immersive projections of surreal landscapes.
In celebration of its latest scent Afternoon Delight—a fragrance that smells like vanilla cake—the pop-up also includes a Parisian-inspired café. Visitors can indulge in scent-themed bakes such as the Afternoon Delight madeleine, Dancing on the Moon black tea cake, and Lazy Sunday Morning pear shortcake, alongside a selection of coffee-based drinks, hot chocolate, and berry soda. Guests can also enjoy added perks like customised bottle labels and drawstring pouches, as well as tiered gifts with purchase that may include fragrance vials, bath and body care, or scented candles.
The experience continues with creative workshops by local artists. One upcoming highlight includes a letter-writing and wax sealing session hosted by Hier Goods, offering visitors a tactile and personal way to engage with the brand. Each workshop comes with a set of curated gifts, including a Maison Margiela voucher, fragrance discovery kits, and scented keepsakes. With limited slots per session, early registration is recommended.
